    HTC One X Sound Problem

    [FONT=Times New Roman]
hi, I've just registered and this is my first post. I hope you guys can help me.
I bought my first htc a week ago, I've put some music and videos , and they worked perfectly.
today after I added some videos and songs, I had this problem.
whenever I play a song or a video, the speaker makes a noise like when you unplug a speaker from a sound system.
something like (tic tic) , and the song/video stops after a few seconds.
also when I fast forward a video, the video keeps playing for a few seconds , but without any audio.
the same issue in the ringtone, It does the same noise then it stops after a few seconds.
    please help me guys.

I have the same exact problem, I bought my htc one x last week and I just noticed the same clicking sound when I play music and especially when watching videos. It looks like the phone is grounded. I also tried to shake it and it sounded like there is a loose connection in the audio port.

Welcome aboard guys, sorry to hear about your issues. Best thing would be to exchange it for a new unit.

    thanks guys..
the problem I've mentioned is temporary, it happens only after transferring some music/videos.. i think the phone is updating media files, cuz when i disconnect the device and wait for like 10 minutes , the problem disappears !!

I know this is an issue, especially if viewing on YouTube. Music through poweramp does not have this issue. Nor does the sound play up if you allow the whole YouTube video to dl before you play. I hope HTC fix this in the next update. Somehow I don't think they're going to update till august/September, all ics updates have been shelved, just hope jellbean sorts it out.

    Hi all
    this is my first post
the problem is also the same on my htc one x
I think that I discover the solution by doing the following:
    1-restart yoyr phone
    2- insert the headphones
3- go to fm radio and turn it on
4- now while playing radio remove the headphones, the radio will stop automatically when you remove headphones
5- now try to play the music files in two cases whith and without headphones, if they played successfuly go to step 6
6- now to make them always played go to settings>power, and check the fast boot option
please try then and reply to make sure that these steps work on all htc one x phones

To play the media files you just want to wait about 10 minutes after rebooting then problem automatically will resolved
I think that a service runned by htc late to be runned
