Angry Problem when connecting a jack

    Hello

I have uncounted a problem. Been searching around but haven't seen this issue anywhere.

I'm not 100% sure if it worked on the first version of android 4.
But after the last updates it seems to be bugged.

If I connect a jack to the telephone the phone doesn't notice that I have plugged in and continue plays trough speaker.

But if I restart the phone (with jack plugged in) it has the headphone icon when Its booted up again. And plays music trough the Jack.
And when I remove it, the headphone icon disappear and plays trough speaker as its supposed to do.

But every time I want to play trough a Jack cable I have to restart my phone. It's kinda annoying

I've tried resetting the entire phone and everything. Can't get this to work it seems.
    Anyone had this issue?

Any feedback would be much appreciated

Same here with an HTC One V. But I'm not sure it's related to the last Android update, it appeared a while after the last update for me...
I haven't found any fix yet.

I was planning on installing an older version of android. and see if that helps.
If it does its defiantly a android problem.
But can ofc be a one issue.
Have tried with a custom rom as well. still no progress

It might have something to do with the International version...I have the AT&T version (US) and I've never encountered such a problem. I hope you get it fixed though!

Well seems like only a few have encountered this issue. So could ofc be an issue with only this phone. I will take this to HTC aswell
