How do I automatically download images in email

I just purchased my One S yesterday and notice today that my emails (COMCAST) do not automatically download images. That's curious as my old (and I mean 'old') Google Nexus phone did that with no prompting. Some emails have a 'view images' prompt, but others have nothing but what appears to be hypertext that you cannot click on. Is this something I need to take up with COMCAST or is it a phone setting?

    Thanks.

Did you checked on the E-mail app settings?

Yes, I think I did. I have since found something that says "Mail Size Limit" (buried in the bowels under "settings") and that seems to help quite a bit. It was set to 5K, and I increased it to "Maximum." Now at least I don't get all of the hypertext links, but get most of the email except any images. But there is always a header that states "Display Images" and if I tap that, the images appear. So, I would consider the problem pretty much resolved.

    Thanks.

Is there a way to automatically display the images without having to manually select it every time?
Also, how do you read the next messages without having to back out of the message and select the next message?

There's not an auto setting. You'll have to select Display Pictures, and then the option to Always send pictures will show up and select. This is to help safegaurd yourself from Spam.

And yes, simply swipe left or right on the screen to display the next / previous email.
