    Life of battery

I just got an unlocked HTC ONE and was wondering if anyone knows what the life of the battery would be. Since this has a non user replaceable battery, and if the battery fails after the 1 year warranty, I was told by HTC that the phone would have to be sent to their repair center. They do not offer an advance replacement unit, therefore leaving one without a phone for 7-10 days. I know Apple and Nexus offer advance replacements for this issue.
This just could be a reason to return this phone and get a full refund since I paid the full sales price for a phone with no contracts. I might have to buy Apple.
    Anybody have any info?

Probably better to return the phone and go with the Apple product. How would anybody know how long the battery lasts? Is it going to be any different with an iPhone?

I would be interested to know what settings you have your phone on as I am struggling with the battery life on my new HTC One and would like to try and optimise settings to save power. I need advice that is simple and fairly idiot-proof!! Thanks
