    Whatsapp problem !!!

    Hi all,

I'm having issues with WhatsApp saying :

    Alert

We can't identify your device. Please turn off the phone, take out the battery, restart it and try it again.

Note: tablets are currently not supported.

Did anyone know the solution ?

Sorry that you're having problems with that app, but if you can hang on for a bit, some of our more knowledgeable members will pop in to offer some suggestions.

Whatsapp is a complete pain. My advice _ uninstall and install line instead. If you need whatsapp to work just reboot your phone, if it still doesn't recognise it uninstall and reinstall the app. Oh and enjoy putting the international dialing codes on all the numbers in your contacts list, whatsapp doesn't see anyone unless you do this.

    Hi all,,,

Finally I found the solution for this issue. the problem comes if we have another Whatsapp account running on another Phone. delete the old account on the old Phone and install a fresh copy of Whatsapp on your HTC phone.

    thank you all

I'm having a different kind of trouble, i have a HTC one x, when someone sends me a message on whatsapp i have to go onto the app before it receives, how do i get the notifications to show up automatically?

I have already autosynced it and i'm so confused on why it isn't working.

Whatsapp is creating problem on many phones. I would suggest to try for another chat source, i've heard about hike.com (similar to watsapp) and others like chaton, viber. M using chaton and viber, these are working pretty well for me.

    Hi Abod,
I had whatsapp properly functioning on my phone eariler.

2 days back i formated my phone and installed whatsapp on the same phone but now it says

    "Alert

We can't identify your device. Please turn off the phone, take out the battery, restart it and try it again.

Note: tablets are currently not supported."

Need some help as you went through this same problem before.

    Thank You.!
