Anyone else not able to update software??

I bought my One X one release-day and within 2 weeks the update search stopped confirming whether it was actually updating or not. It also stopped restricting me to 1 search per day. After speaking with ATT and HTC, it seems that there is an available update but my phone is not actually searching for "on-air" updates anymore and that I will have to do it manually online, which deletes all personal info from the phone. This is beyond aggravating for me as I use the phone heavily for business and don't want to deal with a system reset.
Anyone else run into this and have a solution? Also, if you are in the US and haven't received an update, you may be in the same boat as me.

Driver update software is beginning to become very popular. People are getting busier and no longer have the time to spend poring over driver and matching updates that comes with manually updating your drivers.
