One X International Unlocked to India or One S Unlocked North American to India

HI,
I need some advice on which phone to have shipped to India.
The One X in india is approximately 38K INR (roughly $700).

The One X unlocked in US is available for about $450, which is the NA version with the Quad core and 16GB.

The One S in india comes with the Dual core non-Krait chip. And the One S unlocked in US is about 400 again but with the Krait.

My questions:

1. Will the One X NA version work in India? Remember, there is no LTE in india and hence the maximum I have is a 3G network here.
2. If the above is yes, then which should i prefer? The One X NA version or the One S NA version? Both have the same hardware(more or less).
