HTC One X syncs everything but with google

Hi

I have a HTC One X.

I go to settings
Acounts & sync
then I select 'Google'
Everything listed under Google ie Calender, chrome, contacts etc are all green and ticked except for 'Sync Internet'. It says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."

It's been like this since July and it's now October, which is way too long to just be 'shortly'. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you tried a reset? Or possibly removing the account and re-adding it? You may have to put another one in to get rid of your original one, but it's worked for me in the past.
