Engadget reviews a few colorful HTC One X Cases

Engadget is showing off a newly designed case for the HTC One X. The colorful accessories are made of a flexible PTFE-like (polytetrafluoroethylene) material and are designed to both protect and enhance the appearance of the device. Currently the price or availability wasn't mentioned but I'm sure it will be announced shortly. Click here for a few more pics:

They would appear to give pretty minimal protection, that's for sure. I checked the AT&T online site (they're open for business for pre-orders of the One X) and they have several cases, amongst which is an Otterbox (black) case for $40.00 and several gel cases in different colors. I didn't pre-order tonight, because I need to talk to a living person to use my upgrade, and negotiate a good deal.

I have the orange on on gray. Love the colorful/dull contrast. These are definitely cosmetic designed and offer no protection from droppings. They are suppose to work with the dock so you don't have to take them on and off. I know expansys.com has more options with the hole style, but don't know if they work with the AT&T model. I would hate to get one and it's off set with the dock pins. I'll have to email them to check.
