In the phone app, click on contacts then in to top left corner you can choose what contacts to show, try unchecking facebook.

Also in the facebook app, click the cog wheel, scroll to the bottom, click account, click appsettings, at the bottom here you can choose how and if to sync facebook contacts.

My phone is in Swedish so I might have guessed the translations wrong, but it should be something similar at least

I haven't tryed this myself, but I have at least seen the settings there. I suppose it should work

I've tried removing the Facebook app and the contacts were still there. I've also clicked on contacts in the phone to not show facebook contacts, that partially works; when you view contacts, it does not show the facebook contacts, but when you select the phone icon, all contacts, including the facebook contacts appear. I've also gone in the facebook app. This is so far the only thing aggravating about this phone, especially when I specifically selected NOT to sync anything when I initially setup my phone.

    Weird.

Have you tried going into the phone settings (by pulling down the notification bar and choosing settings), then go to accounts and synchronization, then make sure contacts is unchecked in your facebook account there.

Again my phone is in Swedish so I appilogize if I guessed the names of the menu items wrong...
