First time I updated my One V my phone dead but I got new replacement. Now my phone keep on rebooting after media update but usb tethering work fine. I think better for us not to update our HTC phone anymore.
Hi started to have the same issue!!! My one V would not connect me to any previously saved network without rebooting!!! I found in one forum that turning off the automatic update helps... "settings->about->software updates->scheduled check unchecked". I don't know what is the logic behind it since it doesn't make any sense...BUT IT DID WORK for my phone!!! Hopefully it will last since I have tried that for about an hour know and there is no problem!!! Hopefully it will work for you guys as well. I will keep you posted if i find anything!
I have the same problem, I come home and as soon as I use data via WiFi, the reboot loop starts. I need to use my data plan at home now too...
Actually just posting this to emphasize the problem. Hey HTC, are you working on this?![]()
Whenever my V establishes connection to mobile network/WiFi, it reboots. Which makes me think.... how the hell can I get a fix for this if I cant establish a connection?
passthru doesn't work either. it resets the phone. THIS IS INFURIATING.

This is also happening with my HTC One X. The strange thing I have noticed is that it works without rebooting at home (using a newer Cisco Home router and a ASUS router as I have two for opposite ends of the house) but at work we have two older Linksys routers running Tomato with the same SSID but obviously different MACs. It seems the phone will loose connectivity and reboot often in the work environment, but at home, nothing unusual. Anyone else using something similar to this scenario?
I just bought HTC one V last week and now coming across with series of problems with it.. It started resetting yesterday when i clicked on calender.. I read somehwhere that it is the syncing problem of calender with Weather. I was not able to change it. Finally i ended up in factory reset. It went fine. Yet i have not synced with either facebook, gmail or any other thing. Soon after resetting it was fine, but now after some hours, if i open calender it restarts. Once i opened gtalk and it rebooted.. ANd one more thing is network drops and comes up often. Though i use Airtel, i feel that i am using some other cheap connection wherein there will be voice breaks over the call.. Seriously pissed off with it. Its not worth for money. Can i get a replacement if the same continues? Can i go for someother brand.? Please let me know..

I just got the HTC One V and I'm having the same issue. Has this still not been resolved? frustrating...
So many of us have this problem and all we do is voice it in this Forum. How about the Company ..... do they have nothing official to say?? Initially, my HTC One V crashed altogether, after a few instances of "rebooting" followed by error reporting, so they gave me a new phone (!!!). Now the same error happens everyday, even without wi-fi. What happens to these error reports? Can someone enlighten me please? THC - are you listening????
