Calendar Crashes

I'm experiencing problems with the calendar crashing when I open the app. I don't think it did this in the past. I was having some problems recently and did a manufacutrers reset and also had a update yesterday which I have aplied, no idea if this is the cause of the problem.

I thought of uninstalling the app but how do I get it back?

I also had the same problem after updating the software.
When opening the default ICS calendar, it reboots my phone, and become unstable.
As a workaround I loaded another free calendar from Play.
This works fine, and the calendar options are much better, so using this as default now.
I dont think you can uninstall the default ICS calendar.

I figured it out, I had to sync everything up and once finished it worked again, or at least it did yesterday.

I thought of getting a different calendar app but I use it so little it's not worth it. All I might do is check what day something falls on and the odd reminder.

Thanks for that, Jozi. My first visit here and you just saved my wife a trip to the shop where she purchased her HTC One last week. Calender app started reliably crashing system just today (i think it also had an update recently), but a Google search found this thread. She read your post, figured out how to sync all, and now the calendar is fine.

Well today my stock calendar decided to crash every time I clicked on a day... I went into my settings & did "sync all" like Jozi said, & it has solved it. Thanks

Hi everyone,

had the same trouble with my calendar after system update. "Sync all" really did help. No crashes anymore.

However, since the update I can't seem to use the swipe function for the keyboard anymore when entering words. Curiously, I wasn't able to find it in my settings to retick the box. Has it gone?

Probably been removed, I couldnt find it either. I thought I had it before. So I checked my manual which I had saved on my PC

mmm it's there, & it said on the relevant page

But I couldnt find this on my phone. So I checked the manual again, but this time online - on the HTC website... & it said this...

Hi, i have the same problem with calendar. I hope that htc will fix this bug in next system updates.

Is there another way to fix?

i was facing the same problem....thanks to "Sync all" my calendar is alright now.
