No Photos for Contacts?

Just got my HTC ONE V a couple of days ago. So far its been mixed feelings from me. looks a lot nicer then my Desire, but a lot slower and freezes a lot and sometimes returns to the home page by its own, which is odd. It cant cope with simple tasks like flicking from menu to homepage. Anyway i can live with that and get used to it.

One small annoying thing, i am unable to assign photos to contacts. I go to people, edit contact, add photo/take photo add the selected photo and it crops it and i select 'done'. then nothing happens. So i manually return back to the contact and hit SAVE. But, no image appears? Am i doing something wrong or is there a glitch with people app?
Anyone else have this issue? or know how to resolve it? please helP!!!

I have the same problem. I had my google and facebook contacts synced, but I'm not sure about running google contacts. I can't upload my pictures to facebook and other social sites as well. Could you help me out?
