Seidio Active Kickstand Case Review.

I'll start by saying that I'm not a fan of cases. I went the first two month of owning my One X with no case and was loving it. However, I'm restoring a home and need something to keep my phone safe as it gets knocked around, dropped, wet, etc.

My First impression of the Seidio case is that it was made to be worn on Batman's utility belt. It has a modern, if not futuristic styling and the two tones of black are classy. The amazing rubberized texture feels good and will absorb shocks, rather than just transferring the energy like a stiff case will. There is a softer jacket that wraps around the phone, followed by a claw that holds it in place and offers support. The cut is simply perfect. I've bought a few cases for various phones and either altered, discarded, or returned them because of poor fit. Here, the screen is not blocked at all, nor are the touch-controls or the audio pieces. This one not only fits, but the button are even easier to push with this case (sometimes too easy, in the case of the volume rocker). Jacks are cleverly cut to allow full room for accessories while still utilizing maximum coverage. Overall, it leaves you with the impression that the designers put a lot of thought into every aspect.

In practice, I feel safe checking my phone even while my hands are covered in drywall putty. It cleans easily and accessing it in my pocket is no problem as it has some grip to it, but doesn't catch on clothing too badly. While it adds a little size to the phone, it feels so damn good that the slight bulk isn't unwelcome. It's certainly more slim than just about anything else that affords this kind of protection. One thing I really like is that the case reduces the One X's inclination to slip off the sofa, my lap, out of my pocket, etc and fall to the floor (something that was an issue before). Kickstand is solid so far. If the phone's heat build-up near the camera area bothers you, this case will take away that problem.

I cannot get the site's photo uploader to work, which is disappointing because I wanted you guys to see how good it looks in real-world photos. The case comes with very strong belt-clip, which I have yet to use. I highly recommend this case as it's the only one that's ever impressed me in terms of both style and function. Plus, the price is reasonable.
