Bluetooth pairing issue with JVC headunit

The only issue i have had with my phone since I got it is when i try to pair it to my car's JVC KD-x50bt aftermarket radio. It will find the radio and the radio will show that it is attempting to pair with my phone but when the pincode comes up on the phone it always says it can't pair because the pincode is not correct even though it is right. The radio generates a pincode each time you try to pair it with something and on the phone there is no option to manually enter it in, you just hit "pair" if it matches. I hit pair and it always says the pincode does not match. Is there something i'm missing? My previous phone was an iPhone 4 and it would connect ever time without a problem. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help.

Hello MrWillimon, welcome to the forum!

I need you to hang on for awhile until someone more knowledgeable on bluetooth devices can pop in and give you some assistance. OK?

Thanks for the welcome. I actually got tired last night and sat in my car to mess with it for a while and eventually stumbled onto the solution. It just required an extra step on the radio side that my iPhone never did. Works beautifully now.

One thing that I noticed is that the phone won't play over USB through the radio because it wants to treat it like its hooked into a computer. It is not really an issue since I will be listening via Bluetooth but I would like to know why it won't play. I will look into it more later buy honestly I'm 100% happy with it since it will now stream and make calls over BT and charge through the USB on the radio.

There should be an option to mount it as something other than in PC mode. When connected via USB, what options do you have?
