Contacts Confusion

Hi guys,

I would to ask one thing.

I own a HTC One X. When I press the phone button and search a contact through SMART DIAL, my contacts appear 2 times, from my phone and from my SIM.

I don't mean the people section, there i manage to have my contacts once through people > phonebook and selected what i wanted.

I mean the SMART DIAL section. There, I have all of my contacts twice.

What can I do in order to appear only once?

I'm attaching a screenshot to understand exactly my issue.

It is showing u both your phone and sim contacts..it searches both areas

You should have settings to display one or the other, preferably not the SIM ones.

try syncing them together to make just one contact with email phone numbers etc

That would be very tedious, as that is done one by one. If he opens contacts/settings he should be able to uncheck one and display the other one.
