How do you access your stored files??

If I download a PDF on my phone, I cannot find it. The app called "downloads" only shows a couple of app add-ons that I downloaded when I first got the phone. I can see my downloads via a computer, why not through my phone? Is another bug? This phone has been glitchy for me.

Download one of the free file managers from google play. There are quite a few of them so take your pick I use one that is simply called "file manager"
