LED duration

Does anyone know of an app that works to extend the duration of the flashing LED when a new message, missed call, etc. is received? If I understand correctly, it times out after maybe 5 minutes if the notification isn't checked. I keep it in silent mode at night and would like to periodically see if I have a new notification w/o having to wake up the phone and turn on the screen. People have told me there are apps like "Light Flow" and "Blink", but others say they are problematic or don't work with the one x. This is not a huge deal, but just curious if anyone has found an app that works without issues. I don't care about changing the color, just avoiding timeout of the LED before I can check the phone.

I called HTC and they said the led is set to blink for 5 minutes unless notification is cleared prior. So far, it doesn't look like any apps can change this. If I find one I'll pass it along.

You're welcome. My Motorola Atrix would still be blinking in the morning if I got a call or message during the night (I set my phones to silent when i go to bed).
My phone is stock. You may want to ask about the JB RUU in a new thread.
