Hi, the One X has a shutter speed of 0.7 secs, thats why its blurry when you move a teeny bit. ( It's apparently because it takes us 0.7 secs before we realize we want to take the photo.) -Its on the HTC site.

In the same pea pod, the quick shutter time allows for some very action stopping photos. (I used the burst mode feature while shooting a mate go over a jump on his bike, in mid air, the spokes in the rims looked stationary, and every spoke was clear.)

I have also a photojojo macro lens, (takes close up photos). This greatly amplifies the shaky-blur most cameras produce. But I still manage to get great pics, even with a bit of move.

I will post some pics here of what my One-X captures. Maybe you have a dud?

This is macro, There is no blur, exept where there's meant to be.

This is the motion shot, as I described in the post.***I heavily edited this pic, for saturation purposes.***

I assure you the camera in this phone is decent.

Here's a linke to a topic in this forum- Its the one x pics section.

    Cheers, Tim.

EDIT: Being smaller resolution for the forum, these look 100% better in full resolution.

I have to run my camera settings one click under for the saturation. If I don't the skin colours looking awful, very red and horrid looking. The under saturation helps but then the pictures do looks a little washed out. I know people may say it's a phone not a camera, but I've had better cameras on much cheaper phones.
Macros are good, can't fault that .Name: uploadfromtaptalk1345967409023.jpg

Low light pics are great too.

i have a problem with my camera. every time i click the camera icon it takes about 30 seconds to actually load up the camera and when this happens i get a black screen and my front camera doesn't work either. when i get the black screen the icons at the top of the screen are still there like the battery level, signal and time. anyone know what i should do???

Re: HTC One X Camera Thoughts

The only thing I miss on the camera is that there is no option for a visual date/time stamp.

While the phone is powered-up and the screen is illuminated, press the upper-right corner power button and hold until you get the Phone Options. Press the restart option and press "Restart" when prompted.
