What's the Best Android Keyboard?

TouchPal does have skins, that is what I'm using on my Nexus.

I downloaded and was using Minimal ICS Blue...pretty nice!

Since then I installed Swype on my tab and I think I found my default keyboard. The new tab version is really good.

a bit unrelated. i just got the phone (and it's my first android) so i've been using htc sense. i'm interested in this swiftkey i'm reading about here, but my main concern is finding a keyboard i can type in japanese with. so far, i am having a hard time finding one that works well for me.

I installed swift too, but after a couple of weeks I went back to stock. HTC keyboard is amazing, only when you leave it and try something else do you realise how great it is.

Hi, can I pick your brains? I've successfully downloaded Swype to my One V but I can't seem to activate it. It shows up in my Settings/Language Keyboard menu and I've set the Swype Beta to ON but when I type a text message the only keyboard which displays is the standard HTC one. What am I doing wrong?

I've actually grown quite fond of the HTC Sense Keyboard, but I do have Swift X and Swype as alternatives. Swype has always been my go to, but the bug of the keyboard shrinking and losing orientation have me using Sense for the time. I actually like its VTT as it type as your talk. Pretty cool.
