    Hi Everyone
    I am Ann and I have just got my first ever HTC alway gone for Nokia before, I have the HTC One V.

    What I did want to ask is at the moment I have SIM and phone contact showing . How do I get it so it just shows the phone contacts.

    Go to your contact screen and in the upper left click on the dropdown tab that says phone. Uncheck SIM and make sure phone is checked.

    next thing now I am really struggling to open the notification bar, it tap and hold but most of the time it won't open. is there a knack to it or another way?????

    Tap, hold and drag the notification bar down. I hope this is what you were asking.

    Thanks I was taping to low and just kept moving the clock LOL.

    I find it easier to put my finger tip on the HTC badge and drag my finger down from there. That opens Notifications every time.
