I have a couple of issues with my HTC One S that I was looking for feedback on. I was not sure how to post to this site, but I guess I actually already am posting...well, the first issue involves Ghost dialing. Occasionally, with my phone out on the desk, it will dial a random number from my phonebook (not necessarily last number dialed) after I've completed a call. This is somewhat discouraging and curious. I downloaded the App, Call Confirm, to keep from having those calls go through, but am looking for a better solution/explanation to/of the problem. Second issue is that on a few contact name/numbers, I will save info and see it on my contact list only to later see it has disappeared. Two separate contacts will not save permanently for me??? What is that all about? Nothing unusual about the contact names or numbers; they just will not save. Thanks for any help!

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Have you tried to clear data/cache in the dialer to see if that resolves the ghost dialing issue? Do you recall what apps you downloaded prior to the ghost dialing starting - it could be a rogue app causing this issue.

As for the contact issue, are you saving the contacts to your gMail account and are they listed in there if you view your contacts via a computer & logging into gMail/contacts.
